Lovely natured 13.1hh pony mare for experienced rider in Dunoon, Argyll and Bute for sale

13.1hh grey mare. 9 years old. Lady is a lovely natured pretty pony. She is very sturdy – although listed as a Welsh Cross on her passport, she is a very cobby type and easily carries an adult. I have only owned Lady for a couple of months. When I bought her I believed her to be a novice ride – however, she is not a novice ride. She is suitable for an experienced rider which I am not. I am therefore having to sell her as I simply don’t have the facilities, experience or confidence to bring her on. Basically Lady has never done much work and will need a lot of teaching. Although 9 years old she is green as she was originally a brood mare and then brought on as a riding pony. However, I believe she has never been ridden much at all and her training needs to be ongoing to bring out her potential. At present she is fairly unfit and overweight. She is barefoot with good hooves, a very good doer and lives out all year without rugs. Passported and micro-chipped. She is great to load. Comes with saddle and snaffle bridle. £500 - but an experienced home who can offer her a happy future is much more important than price. It's a sad sale as she is a lovely, affectionate, very pretty pony who stands patiently for ages whilst we fuss over her!
